Universal children’s day takes place on November the 20th. Children usually put a smile on our faces but now it is our turn to return the favour. As all of our work focuses on children we thought it fitting to create a fun event. To commemorate this day Friends in Ireland are hosting a comedy gig on Friday the 18th of November. The show starts at 8.30 pm and there is a complimentary cocktail for all those that arrive before 7.30 pm. The line-up has not been finalised yet but so far we have Fred Cooke and Steve Cummins with two more comedians still to confirm.
This will be a fun night but it is also a fundraising event with proceeds going to making real improvements to the lives of the 700 children in our care. If you are interested in getting tickets for the night please get in touch with Tommy Sheridan by e-mail. Only tickets purchased directly from us will be raising funds for the children so we ask you to please contact us directly and not the venue. We will also be running bake sales on the day and if you are interested in hosting one in your office please contact us for further information. |
