We would like to extend our great thanks and appreciation to Portmarnock Community School for their visit in February 2010. The visit in 2010 reflected an impressive group of individuals who applied their experience, skills and energy to a variety of projects including construction work, education, medical clinics, our preschool and crèche Programme, and of course the hugely valuable cultural exchange and interaction with our Programme in South Africa.
We would particularly like to thank the Students who took part in the work, and hope that they found the experience interesting, challenging and (ultimately) rewarding.
Our relationship with Portmarnock Community School is now entering its fifth year, and we warmly thank all those participants and supporters who continue to ensure its success.
Finally, we look forward to further developing this relationship into the future, and ensuring that the annual visit continues to grow and undertake to work closely with Portmarnock Community School to plan for an even greater visit in 2011!
Once again, go raibh maith aguibh agus (as we say in isiXhosa) Enkosi Yakhula! |
